In January 1983, Dr. Erwin Wessling laid the foundation stone of what was soon to develop into the WESSLING Group as it is today. The original company was known as "Chemisches Laboratorium Dr. E. Wessling" and its location was a restored windmill from the eighteenth century, situated right in the heart of the Münsterland.

Right from the start, the name WESSLING has stood for laboratory analysis of the highest quality. This activity was augmented at an early stage by the addition of a consultancy service, known as "Dr. Wessling Beratende Ingenieure" (WBI), responsible for the expert analysis and evaluation of the results obtained from the field and laboratory tests.

The WESSLING Group is now able to provide its customers with a complete, all-round service, which can be tailor-designed to meet the specific requirements of each individual customer.

The expansion of the company's network of locations means that a company contact is sure to be available in your region.

The use of flat hierarchies, modern media and clear communications structures serve to promote the smooth exchange of knowledge and information between the customers, the company departments and the individual locations.

As a learning company, the WESSLING Group counters the demands presented by a constantly developing market by providing systematic initial and further training for all its members. The field of measuring technology itself is of course also subject to an ongoing process of innovation.

The WESSLING Wave.

Ever since the foundation of our company, the double wave has been the signet of WESSLING Laboratories. The wave is the company symbol for our different fields of activity: The blue wave stands for drinking water, ground water and clean air. The grey wave stands for waste water and extracted air.
